Itching to Travel to Saba? We’re opening our Borders!

It’s been over a year since this global pandemic hit us - a year defined mainly by people staying put in their homes and countries.

But now, with the vaccine rolling out around the world, risk and the renewed opportunity for freedom are acceptable, and people are itching to travel again!

Saba has reached “Herd Immunity,” – meaning the majority of adult citizens are immune to the coronavirus through vaccination. (Now, let’s hope the rest of the world will follow in our “tiny” but large footsteps).

Saba’s government recognizes people’s desire to COME to Saba and Vacation…

Hiking Mt. Scenery and the beautiful Sandy Cruz Trail,
Diving in Saba’s Marine Park,
Dining out in our village restaurants,
Just to Relax…

  • VACCINATED people can enter without quarantine
  • NON-VACCINATED people can come in with a five (5) day only quarantine.

It requires preparation and thought (more than usual) and some tolerance for uncertainty… AND we’re here to assist you every step of the way.
  • Entry Requirements. (Juliana’s can fill out all the forms for you…NO PROBLEM!)
  • Travel Safe .
  • Avoiding busy locations.  (It’s Saba! We only have 1400 residents!)
  • Conscious personal and hand hygiene. (You have the sanitizer bottles ready! Get some Travel size.)
  • Respiratory etiquette (Come on… use your elbows, you should know that by now!)
  • Maintaining social distancing of at least 6 feet /1 meter from others. (Personal Space...DUH!)
  • Use a mask.  (Get a personalized Mask)
  • Avoid cash by using credit and debit cards when possible. (Break out the charge card!)
  • Follow the same safety precautions you would do at home. (Common Sense!)
  • Once you’re home, follow the official instructions of authorities after your trip. (You’ll want to be safe in order to visit Saba again!)
Don’t worry, Juliana’s Hotel has been
doing this successfully for months.
Working with essential travelers and Workcation guests - taking preventive measures at the hotel and the restaurant/bar Tropics Café and The Studio, and we’re here to make your vacation trip safe, comfortable, and enjoyable!

We also know the routine during quarantine, we have Wi-Fi codes, extra sheets, towels, and soaps all stocked up for you.
Send us a list of groceries, and we'll have your room stocked upon arrival, and during the rest of your quarantine, just message us!
We also provide menus of the restaurants and arrange pick ups and bring it to your room. We did this when people were quarantined for 14 days, you'll ONLY have 5 days! Trust us you'll be taken care of!

Here are some helpful links I discovered while researching travel during a pandemic:
  • The World Health Organization (WHO) has a page dedicated to Public health considerations while resuming international travel
  • Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) also has a page dedicated to Travel During Covid-19.
  • The Government of The Netherlands has the following page dedicated to Traveling and going on holiday.

We are super excited to see old buddies and make some new friends.
It’s coming to the end of the pandemic. You're not locked into your country anymore!

Looking forward to seeing world travelers on Saba again!
